Obadiah Archer is the greatest martial artist alive and a Harbinger with uncanny powers of perception whom, as a child, learns that his evangelist parents, Joe Earl and Thelma Archer, are deviant killers that, in an attempt to cover their tracks, engineer his death. Though left clinically death, Obadiah miraculously returns to the land of the living convinced that God has empowered him to right the wrongs of the world, and commits himself to vanquish the evils of the world.
Aram Anni–Padda is the immortal Armstrong, the second-oldest immortal in recorded history and strongest of the Anni-Padda brothers. A humanitarian and derelict far more interested in peace and partying than in war, Aram has reluctantly brawled his way from prehistory to modern times only to realize that the best way to face life's tests is to grab a drink and find the next party.
On the run from the The Sect, a multi-theosophic covert faction which aim is to destroy Aram Anni-Padda, whom they believe to be the devil incarnate whose existence creates an imbalance in the great wheel of karma that topples the whole of reality, the unlikely pair team up to face down a threat that could destroy the world!
