Dickey is a friend of Jack Boniface, the dark-vested hero known as Shadowman. Dickey and his band have a CD called Shades of Two Worlds Jack wishes he had played on.
The night that Jack meets Lydia, a bio-engineered Spider Alien warrior, Dickey invites him to take part of a recording session with his band for a record that they are producing seven weeks later.
