In Egypt, the Geomancer of the later part of the first century AD informed Gilad Anni-Padda of a plot to overthrow the Pharaoh, a conspiracy fomented by the reincarnated Immortal Enemy that he thwarted. At this meeting, Gilad learned that the enemy could transfer his mind to the body of another when near death, and the Geomancer warned him to always strike at his foe from a distance.
