Gigo receives his powers as the result of bio-tech experiments conducted by Doctor Himmel, his surrogate mother. When Himmel brings Gigo to Rome to auction off her technology and skills to Dr. Augustus Silkowski, he engages Sonar, Para-Man and Tank in battle and they eventually defeat him.
