Mark Haskins was a skateboarding friend of Zach Helvin who suffered from leukemia. Zach coerced the staff of Galloway and Galloway to try and find a cure for Mark's condition. Unfortunately, Mark's disease had progressed to an advanced state and G&G was unable to find a cure.
Before he died, Christine Helvin allowed Mark to use Crunchtime's headband so Mark, with the aid of Parker Matthews' holographic images, could visualize a future he would never experience himself.
