During a flight over Area 51 in the Nevada desert, Major Paul Benson witnesses what he refers to as a ‘’Moth Man’’, and his insistance to refuse to denounce his story causes him to be stripped of his winds and decommissioned.
When the Visitor makes himself known to the world at large, Paul erroneously believes that he is the Moth Man, but he later discovers that the Moth Man is just another form of the enigmatic Men in Black.
