Orb Industries is a multinational conglomerate based near Boston that was once under the control of the Spider Aliens, a blood-thirsty race of extraterrestrial arachnoids that used it as a front for an invasion of Earth. After Aric Dacia, a 5th Century Visigoth lost in the modern age, defeats the aliens with the Manowar Class Armor, the most powerful weapon in the universe, he seizes Orb’s central computer and assumes full control of the company for himself.
