Parker had the bad habit of using his biofield to channel surf through the Galloway and Galloway security system cameras, and spy on other people, which came back to bite him when he saw his mom kissing another man. A chance mission sent Parker and his parents out together, and he made them accept the reality that the family had a problem.
When Parker was shot in the head, his biogenic field lived on long after his heart stopped beating and his brainwaves had flatlined. Placed within the Chrysalis Chamber, which accelerated his biofield, Parker metamorphosed into a brand new life form as a sentient energy being made up of electromagnetic waves.
