A member of the B-Squad, Sam is the best friend of Butch MacFaddin. When Mira Choudhury joins the team, Sam is the only one in the squad who gives her a chance and takes the time to get to know her. Eventually, a romance blossoms between Sam and Mira that tragically ends when the Harbinger kills Sam during a battle in Washington, DC.
