Located East of Japan, Shichito Island is the headquarters of the Anti-Grannies, an organization of citizens who feel oppressed by their lack of control over their lives and believe that Japan's fate belongs to its people and not to its freewill caretaker, Grandmother.
Invasion
When Grandmother and 1A shifted the host body of Japan into the form of a Komodo Dragon to engage an alien fleet in battle, the island–nation rose into the atmosphere and caused a tsunami that forced the Anti–Grannies to evacuate Shichito Island.
