The story of Vandal and Triahna, the fountainhead of humanity, has been told time and again, and they have been given a hundred new names in a hundred myths.
Vandal is a genetically–unique individual who bequeaths his ability to regenerate from any injury to his children, Aram Anni-Padda, Gilad Anni-Padda, and Ivar Anni-Padda.
In 3266 BC, when Niktor, a Spider Soldier, comes looking for Ivar, Vandal and Triahna’s first-born, he slaughters everyone in the tribe, except for Vandal, who escapes with Aram and Gilad.
